“Bernstein is a charming performer with an elegant grace that pervades the stage whenever she makes an entrance.”

I have been performing since I was five. In truth, back then my only audience was my mother and my only costumes came from her drawer of scarves, but I was all in. I sometimes wonder how a five year old knew how to transform herself into a diva with a silk scarf or a grandmother from the old country in a babushka, but there I was making it work and enchanting my one captive and totally biased audience member.
I moved on to the youth program at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC and just kept going. Many years later, I took a detour to law school and donned an attorney’s costume for awhile and yet I always found my way back to the creative energy of story-telling and the theater. Eventually, I returned to my first love full time and here I am.
